Rise against rabies virus

Rabies is an almost 100% fatal disease that is transmitted by animals and has no cure but is preventable. It is a serious but neglected disease that is caused by a bullet shaped virus that affects the nervous system (brain and the spinal cord) of the person bitten by a rabid animal e.g. dogs, cats, monkeys, etc. The virus is present in the saliva of the animal. It is also possible but quite rare, to get rabies if saliva from an infected animal gets directly into the eyes, nose, mouth or an open wound.

The victims who suffer from this disease face a sure and horrific death.
